This is an excellent opportunity to join a large European organisation in a new Commercial Team Coordinator appointment acting as a focal point across the group supporting business unit directors and the commercial team. You will provide Logistics business analytics, tender, commercial contracts administration and support with business development projects within the commercial team. This is a great opportunity to join a global logistics organisation in an all-round commercial position covering transport - UK Road, warehouse, storage, shipping and speciality foods products to global brands:

Responsibilities:

  • Support commercial operations teams and business unit directors
  • Commercial tender and contract and legal administration
  • Use of AI and digital tools to enhance efficiency and insights
  • Proactively identify business process improvement opportunities and lead business process change.
  • Understand internal and external client requirements; propose and deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Support business Heads on Pipeline reporting and preparation for New Business/Commercial presentations / marketing
  • Business Development Projects Management, support / project-manage the implementation and onboarding of new business opportunities
  • Be a point of contact for any issues relating to commercial bids, tenders
  • Ensure any commercial issues are resolved in a timely manner to ensure best service possible to customers.
  • Manage major incidents with suppliers ensuring constant communication
  • Produce daily/weekly business reports / Excel reporting – site by site
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry and commercial marketing activity
