This is an excellent opportunity to join a large European organisation in a Logistics Freight Coordinator role. As a Logistics & Freight Coordinator you will play a key role in managing international freight movements, container bookings, and 3PL relationships to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- To provide administration operational support to customers in the UK and Europe.
- Account coordination and communication, shipping, import, export & UK road.
- You will be responsible for giving effective and clear instructions using excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, in a professional manner to all internal and external contacts/personnel.
- Plan, book, record and confirm all appropriate transport arrangements.
- Operate the computer traffic system ensuring accurate data input, regularly checking and updating confirmations, transactions and orders.
- Liaise with shipping agents & freight forwarders supplying them with clear and detailed instructions.
- Arrange additional resource or alternative options to effectively cover all operational activity.
