This is an excellent opportunity to join a global pharmaceuticals organisation in a Sales Manager appointment. You will target, develop and onboard new global pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations in this sales / BDM position. This is a new role to the business and you will be able to add real value to the commercial team and organisation in a time of growth across the UK & USA.
This is a full 360 hands-on Sales / BDM role targeting the Global Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals, Lab, medical samples sector.
Key Areas:
- New customer development - pharmaceutical and life sciences
- Customer partnerships β relationships
- Maximising commercial opportunities and contract growth
- Events / marketing / brand / trade shows, relationship contacts, networking and Trade events

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning & Execution for sales strategy
- Focus on UK β Global Pharmaceuticals sector / Life sciences supply chain
- Partner with commercial teams to tailor messaging for pharmaceutical manufacturer audiences.
- Set messaging strategy for products across all channels
- Face to face sales meetings / presentations, operating at a high level
- Have a good understanding of the GMP & cGMP environments to meet client requirements at all times.
- Achieve high rate of successful conversion and closure of all sales opportunities.
- Plan and organise sales calls in the territory for effective use of time and economic considerations to optimize performance goals within each account.
- Maintain knowledge of product/service, market/industry trends, regulatory changes, competitors, and customers and communicate to management in real-time.
- You will forward plan and manage the product marketing calendar
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise the outcomes of the performance channels.
- Lead the product messaging, customer research & reporting
- Manage and drive an integrated multi-channel marketing strategy
Person Specification:
- Degree level qualification
- Pharmaceuticals / Life sciences supply chain sales experience
- Ability to think on your feet and make independent customer and commercial decisions within an agreed framework.
