Full time permanent – site based

Location: Newcastle / Longbenton

Standalone role supporting the SLT and manufacturing teams. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-site manufacturing organisation in a standalone site HRBP / HR manager generalist appointment. You will be part of the SLT team and be providing day-to-day HR generalist support to operational staffing, managers and directors covering the manufacturing site.

Key Areas:

  • Developing the HR people agenda
  • Disciplinaries, grievance – investigations
  • Developing HR strategies, policies, and practices
  • Managing staff wellness initiatives
  • Fast paced and evolving environment
  • CIPD level 5
  • TUPE as well as other HR projects

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the HR strategies in line with the business objectives.
  • Managing the operational day to day HR processes across all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Continually evaluate HR policies, procedures, processes in order to develop improvements and efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business supporting with all HR needs with effective business partnering.
  • TUPE as well as other HR projects
  • Provide expert advice, mediate in order to manage and resolve Employee Relations matters.
  • Strong employment law knowledge with practical application
  • Attracting the best talent into the business by reviewing current attraction methods and making improvements
  • Manage the whole recruitment life cycle
  • Developing an on-boarding process that engages and retains the best talent
  • Reviewing the internal talent pipeline and creating a succession and development plan
  • Design and implement a performance management framework embedding across the business
  • Drive the right behaviours to create a high-performance culture
  • Lead on engagement initiatives to promote a positive working environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication
  • CIPD qualifications or equivalent – level 5
  • Commercial understanding and a value-add ethos.
  • Hands on approach and can-do attitude
