🚀 Role: Interim Head of Product (12 month FTC)
The role
Step in as the most senior product leader for a major UK retailer where digital is now the growth engine of the business. You’ll lead multiple product squads, own a large budget, and be the product voice at the top table.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading a large team across Product and Design.
- Owning delivery of a strategy across web and app.
- Partnering closely with engineering, including an offshore dev team, to keep squads truly product‑led and outcome‑focused.
- Communicating progress and commercial impact to the exec and board.
What I’m looking for
- Senior B2C product leader with experience in larger, complex organisations
- Strong track record of leading multiple squads and managers
- Comfortable with commercial ownership: managing multi‑million budgets, talking ROI and payback, and prioritising ruthlessly
- Proven ability to protect and scale agile, product‑led ways of working inside more traditional structures.
- Retail / eCommerce experience is a plus, but any strong consumer background works if you pick things up quickly.
