We’re partnering with a mission-driven digital learning company to find an experienced Lead Product Designer to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role, shaping design vision and practice across multiple product areas in a fast-evolving, AI-enabled environment.
As Lead Product Designer, you’ll operate across three core product streams, bringing cohesion, clarity, and elevated design standards:
- Define and own the overarching product design vision across multiple product areas.
- Align and coordinate design work across teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Lead by example through hands-on design work, particularly in the early stages.
- Raise the overall design bar—improving craft, pace, and impact.
- Support teams to ship high-quality work quickly, leveraging modern, AI-driven workflows.
- Bring clarity to product and design direction, especially during a period of growth and change.
Proven experience in a Lead or Principal Product Design role, ideally in a scaling tech environment:
- Deep understanding of how design influences user engagement and real-world outcomes, not just interface quality.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments, including AI-supported workflows.
- Ability to move quickly from idea to validation, rather than relying on long, traditional design cycles.
Remote-first, with flexibility to work from a London office 1–2 days per week if preferred. Play a key role in shaping product direction and design culture at scale.
