Job Description

Full Time – 30 hours per week over 7 days including weekends. Hours between 8am and 8pm (6 or 12 hour shifts).

A driving licence and access to transport is essential.

Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 100 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.

At The Old Vicarage, we provide a range of high-quality specialist care services with rooms for residential care and a dedicated wing for dementia care. The Old Vicarage is surrounded by beautiful grounds – including a sheltered courtyard garden.

Joining us as a Health Care Assistant, you will help our residents with various tasks including:

  • Personal care.
  • Companionship.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Mobility.
  • Keeping care records up to date.

As this role involves a regulated activity, successful applicants will undertake an enhanced DBS check, with barred lists check, and any offer of employment will be dependent on a satisfactory outcome.
