Overview
Mobile Tyre Technician / Fitter
Location: Springfield Road, Belfast
Salary: £28,500 – £30,000 per year + overtime & call-out pay
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am – 1pm – Mondays off after the weekend cover
We’re looking for a skilled Mobile Tyre Technician/Fitter to join our team. This is a customer-facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll be on the road, providing expert tyre fitting and repair services to cars, vans and 4x4s—helping to keep our customers safe and mobile.
What’s in it for you
- Competitive base salary (£28,500 – £30,000)
- Call-out rota requires 1 night shift per week and 1 full weekend each month (£50 whilst on-call rota)
- 1 night shift per week for the month = £200
- 1 full weekend cover = £150
- You will be paid extra for each call-out completed in addition to the salary agreed (£40 per call-out completed, approx. additional £800-£1,200 a month)
- Ongoing training to grow your technical skills

What you’ll do
- Inspect, remove, repair and replace tyres on a range of vehicles
- Repair punctures and check air pressure levels
- Carry out wheel balancing, alignment and tracking adjustments
- Advise customers on tyre condition and maintenance
- Provide clear cost estimates before starting work
- Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
- Manage stock, deliveries and equipment
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment and workshop standards
- Follow health & safety procedures and company policies
What we’re looking for
- Previous tyre fitting or automotive experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
