We’re looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join us as Urban Activators (think Field Sales but amplified!) representing amazing brands such as Ocean Spray, Loacker, Ryvita and Clif Bar in Convenience and Independent stores. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll be out in the field every day, ensuring our brands are visible on shelf, stocked and sold.
A day in the life:
- Work to a set of postcodes in your territory, creating your own journey plan within agreed guidelines – giving you flexibility in how you manage your day
- Visit 13 convenience and independent stores daily
- Sell key food & drink lines directly from your vehicle to drive immediate distribution in line with our strategy
- Influence retailers to purchase ongoing stock from their preferred cash & carry
- Check product availability and ensure our products are always on the shelf
- Build eye-catching displays and place point-of-sale materials
- Work with store owners/managers to grow sales and visibility
- Capture data on your tablet to track performance
- Spot opportunities and feedback insights to your manager
Who we’re looking for:
- Ideally you will have a sales background, however it is not essential. Some of our best Urban Activators have come from hospitality, retail, or customer service, where they’ve listened and been confident in talking to people, solved problems, and been self-motivated on busy days.
- This role is also a great first step into a sales career in FMCG – we’ll give you the training, support, and experience you need to develop.
- If you are:
- Confident and approachable, able to build relationships quickly
- Organised and self-driven, happy to manage your own day
- Someone who loves being out and about, not stuck behind a desk
- Motivated to hit goals and take pride in your work
- A holder of a full UK driving licence, with your own vehicle
- Able to store point-of-sale materials and free stock at home
What you’ll get:
- Up to £30k salary + 10% bonus opportunity
- Company vehicle provided (van) + phone, and tablet to support your work
- 28 days holidays (including public holidays) and a day off for your birthday
- 37.5-hour week, with some flexibility in when you start and finish, no weekend working
- Regular training, support, and incentives
- Contributory Pension.
- We care about mental well-being – we provide all colleagues with 24/7 support on physical, financial & mental health.
- Annual pay reviews.
- Enhanced career development opportunities through our Rebel Talent programme
