As a Real-Time Artist at Foster + Partners, you’ll be part of a world-class Visualisation and Film team creating immersive, interactive experiences that bring ambitious architectural ideas to life. Working across disciplines, from architecture to applied research, you’ll help shape cutting-edge real-time content using Unity and emerging technologies, balancing visual excellence with performance while collaborating with talented creatives across the practice.
This role is ideal if you want to:
- Create high-quality real-time and immersive experiences for visionary global projects.
- Work at the intersection of architecture, design, and emerging technology.
- Collaborate with architects, designers and specialists across multiple disciplines.
- Develop and refine workflows within Unity and immersive pipelines.
- Solve complex technical challenges while maintaining exceptional visual quality.
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience delivering real-time visualisation, VR or immersive content.
- Confidence working in Unity, including UI/UX and material development, and demonstrated experience building a VR or immersive project in Unity (or equivalent).
- Strong eye for detail, aesthetics and user experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot workflows and optimise performance-heavy scenes.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in real-time visualisation, games, film or similar.
- Understanding of high-poly workflows (e.g. Rhino, Revit integration).
