The Role

We are looking for a Public Health Engineer to work on some of the world’s most high-profile and ambitious projects, collaborating with leading architects and engineers to push the boundaries of sustainable building design. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is eager to contribute to the future of smart, resilient buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop calculations, schematics, models, and specifications.
  • Support project coordination and contribute to specific design areas.
  • Collaborate closely with architects to achieve seamless integration of engineering and design.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and Foster + Partners procedures.
  • Stay engaged in continuous professional development (CPD) and champion equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all workstreams.

Skills & Experience

  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards Chartered status).
  • Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of Public Health Engineering in building services.
  • Knowledge of UK building standards (CIBSE, British Standards, ISO, BSRIA, CIPHE) a plus.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of Fire Protection systems and LEED/environmental assessment methods is a plus.
