As a HR Manager at Foster + Partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and supporting business success across our global practice.
Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, you’ll drive people strategy, lead complex HR initiatives and projects and help build a high-performing, inclusive culture.

- Partner with senior leaders and influence people decisions that support business performance.
- Drive and deliver HR projects and strategic people initiatives, including organisational change, process improvements, and culture-focused programmes.
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, providing expert advice and risk-based solutions.
- Shape and improve HR policies, processes, and ways of working across a global organisation.
- Partner with HR centre of Excellence to drive talent, performance, learning, and workforce planning strategies.
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making and improve the employee experience.
What you will bring to the team
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above, with Chartered status also desirable.
- Proven experience operating as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced, or matrixed environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, and organisational change matters.
- Experience leading or contributing to HR projects and people initiatives, delivering successful outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused HR advice, balancing business priorities, employee needs, and risk management.
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, or architectural environments is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and employee relations.
- The confidence to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and challenge constructively.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability (Excel and Word essential); experience of HR systems and data platforms desirable.
