Foster + Partners is seeking a driven and inquisitive Capture Manager to join our Pursuits Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher or business analyst to shape strategic growth, support high‑value pursuits, and unlock new opportunities across global markets. In this role, you’ll transform complex market and client intelligence into clear, actionable insights that inform our approach to winning work and expanding our presence across sectors and geographies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Source, analyse and synthesize market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth, grounded in a strong understanding of clients, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Work closely with leadership to support the identification of priority sectors, locations, and routes to market.
- Critically review propositions against client requirements and evolving market conditions.
- Contribute to sector and market strategies as part of the business planning process.
- Analyse competitor positioning and client drivers for major opportunities in partnership with the Bids and Marketing teams.
- Create clear, accessible and actionable strategic briefings for senior management.
- Monitor long‑range opportunities and help studios position early for success.
- Gather and interpret client feedback to identify trends and insights.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Foster + Partners portfolio and capabilities.
- Champion equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) by integrating its principles into relevant workstreams.
- Ensure compliance with Foster + Partners’ procedures and standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a business development researcher, data analyst, research analyst, pursuit strategist or similar role within design or professional services.
- Experience with tools such as GlobalData and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of written English.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and present data in engaging, user‑friendly formats.
- Proactive problem‑solving ability and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong rapport across all levels of the business.
