Join Our Team as a Financial Accounting Manager at Foster + Partners.

Foster + Partners, a world-leading global design practice, is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join our finance team in London. This is a senior, hands-on role with a strong focus on group consolidation, statutory reporting, and international accounting and tax compliance. You’ll work closely with the International Financial Controller and Finance Director, playing a key role in ensuring robust financial reporting across our UK and global operations.

With responsibility for group reporting and oversight of overseas subsidiaries, this role offers the opportunity to operate at the heart of a complex, international business within a creative and fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly consolidation and reporting process for UK and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Prepare group management accounts and contribute commentary to monthly reporting packs.
  • Prepare consolidated group financial statements under IFRS and UK subsidiary accounts under FRS101.
  • Manage and drive statutory audits for UK entities and oversee overseas audits.
  • Liaise with tax advisors and support UK corporation tax filings and compliance.
  • Review and approve overseas tax computations and returns.
  • Support international project structures, including cross-border tax considerations and treaty reliefs.
  • Prepare overseas forecasts and budgets and consolidate group-wide budgets.
  • Maintain and manage the group consolidation system.
  • Line manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong experience in group reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts.
  • Exposure to international accounting and tax matters (desirable).
  • Excellent Excel and finance systems capability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A methodical, accurate, and highly organised approach.
  • Confidence managing confidential information and competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across teams and geographies.
  • A proactive, resilient, and collaborative mindset.
