As a Document Controller at Foster + Partners, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of design projects by managing, organising and tracking critical project information. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure documents are accurately recorded, accessible and aligned with quality standards, helping to keep collaboration seamless across clients, consultants and internal teams.

This role is ideal if you want to:

  • Support document control procedures and workflows to run smoothly across projects.
  • Register and maintain drawings, reports, specifications, RFIs, submittals and other project documentation accurately within company systems.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external consultants regarding document submissions and information updates where required.
  • Assist with the timely issuance and tracking of project information using Newforma and associated third-party platforms.
  • Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle within the AEC industry.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to set and achieve deadlines and communicate progress effectively towards meeting those deadlines.
  • Understanding contract administration processes and the handling of associated project documentation.
  • Good understanding of drawing lifecycles, document control processes and project stages within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel and document management platforms such as Aconex, BIM 360 and ProjectWise is desirable.
  • Legally entitled to work in the country in which the position is based.
