Responsibilities
- Create beautiful artwork to communicate the practice’s innovative projects.
- Demonstrate workflows and storyboard artwork production; communicate and collaborate with the design team.
- Contribute to a collaborative team while also working autonomously when required, with flexibility to manage multiple projects.
- Mentor other artists and share knowledge where appropriate.
- Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently, with awareness of sensitive or confidential information.
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio of artwork, both digital and hand created welcome.
- Sketchbooks and portfolio work to be presented at interview, ideally with a breakdown of workflow/process.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D Studio Max, VRay, Corona and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with digital artwork production.
- Knowledge of modelling, Forest Pack, RailClone and other CG packages would be desirable.
- A three dimensional and spatial understanding of buildings, including shadow and light.
- Good understanding of scale and composition.
- Knowledge and understanding of atmospheric and emotional storytelling.
- Strong motivation to learn and influence design and architecture through creative artwork.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand, communicate and demonstrate workflows and storyboard artwork production.
- Self-motivated with a flexible attitude; able to work as part of a team and independently.
- Able to manage and coordinate multiple projects with project management skills.
