The Owner of a growing, Southwest London based Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a client facing Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is keen to take on greater responsibility while also receiving one-to-one mentoring.
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining a close-knit team, initially supporting the Owner with day to day QS tasks for private clients across a mixture of high-end residential and hospitality projects. After a period of settling in, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will take on responsibility for preparing cost plans, contracts, as well as beginning to manage their own projects, while continuing to gain regular exposure to clients.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Completed a Quantity Surveying degree
- Circa 2 years Quantity Surveying experience
- Worked within a PQS / Consultancy environment
- Basic construction knowledge
- Able to put together contract documents and cost plans
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
In Return:
- £30,000 - £40,000
- 23 days annual leave + Christmas off + bank holidays
