An ambitious, medium size construction consultancy is seeking multiple Senior Quantity Surveyors who would be comfortable being seconded to one of their major clients.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor’s role involves working on one of two major project locations across the Southeast. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work either from home or from the client’s office, focusing on major infrastructure projects valuing between £100m - £1B.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead and commercial manage projects as well as mentor QS and Junior Quantity Surveyors. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing cost data
- Carrying out commercial audits
- Contract administration
- Forecasting
Requirements:
- NEC contract experience is non-negotiable.
- Previous infrastructure project experience (preferably electrical, substations, overhead lines) is desirable.
- Must be client facing and able to integrate well with teams.
- Willing to travel if you’re not based locally.
- MRICS would be nice, but not essential.
