Senior Construction Project Manager A unique, award winning, sustainability and employee-centric construction consultancy is looking for a Senior Project Manager as it expends its team due to continuing growth. The position is based in the Plymouth office and offers extensive flexible and hybrid working. The Senior Construction Project Manager role The successful Senior Construction Project Manager will be a key part of a collaborative, fast-moving team, taking ownership of project lifecycles from inception to completion, all while building relationships, developing leadership skills, and laying the foundations for the next stage of your career. You\’ll be front and centre on high-profile projects, with exposure across a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Heritage and Public and private sector schemes. The Senior Construction Project Manager: You will bring solid experience in a construction consultancy environment, confidence in client delivery, and the ambition to grow: * Minimum 2 years PQE of experience in consultancy construction project management * Self-motivated and can set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects. * Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration. * Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability, best value while delivering quality. * Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets. * Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects. * Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
