A leading Construction Consultancy that plays an integral role in health and safety for their client base, is seeking a professional and experienced Principal Designer for their London office.
The Principal Designer’s role involves ensuring that all the necessary health and safety requirements are embedded and fulfilled throughout the project life cycle, starting from the design process. The successful Principal Designer will also guide and collaborate with the design and project teams, ensuring projects are compliant and safe across a variety of sectors.
The Principal Designer should have:
- Experience of carrying out the Principal Designer role under CDM 2015
- NEBOSH construction qualification or similar
- Previous experience of carrying out a PD/CDM role for a Construction Consultancy
- Comfortable travelling to various sites
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act
- A background in construction, engineering, or architecture
