A personable and well-established national construction consultancy, with multiple offices across the UK, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join their collaborative finance team based in Milton Keynes.

The successful Bookkeeper will play a vital role in supporting the senior management team and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the business across all UK offices.

  • Managing accounts and bookkeeping processes
  • Credit control and cash flow support
  • Handling staff expenses
  • Overseeing banking transactions and reconciliations
  • Managing insurance renewals and queries
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns

The Bookkeeper should have:

  • Proven experience working with Xero (multiple years essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Able to commute to Milton Keynes
  • Previous experience within a construction or consultancy environment is a bonus (not essential)

In return, the position offers:

  • £35,000 - £40,000
  • Full time role (5 days a week)
