The Quantity Surveying Director of a close-knit Chartered construction consultancy is looking to add an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to her team in Kent.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

Working closely with the Director, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor shall get a broad range of pre and post contract tasks to deliver as you’ll be working on projects from start to finish with typical roles including measuring (CostX), preparing cost estimates, and delivering the project once on site.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be exposed to a variety of projects including residential, commercial, health, and heritage projects across the Southeast.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  • Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or undertaking a QS apprenticeship
  • 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Pre contract knowledge
  • Worked within a PQS / Construction Consultancy environment
  • Within 45 minutes of Tunbridge Wells (driving licence is a must)
  • Team focused, client facing, strong communication skills
