A small/medium sized Building Consultancy based near Waterloo and Borough stations is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team. This hybrid role offers an excellent package. The practice provides outstanding building consultancy services and expertise for those managing and developing built assets, working with clients across a wide range of industry sectors such as education, commercial and offices, residential, recreational and arts & entertainment.

The Assistant Building Surveyor's Role
The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will undertake a well‑rounded role, supporting and sometimes independently completing full condition surveys and reports. There is an emphasis on the education sector, especially schools. Alongside the above, the role also involves a variety of responsibilities, including surveys, dilapidations, and contract administration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education sector experience - particularly schools is a plus
- Well‑rounded Building Surveying skillset
- Good contracts knowledge
- UK private practice/chartered surveying employment history
- Strong communication skills and confidence
- APC in progress is an advantage
