A rapidly expanding Northwest Construction Consultancy is seeking two Quantity Surveyors with NEC contract experience to work on several large-scale infrastructure projects for a key client.
The Quantity Surveyor's role involves reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor and working across one or two major project locations across the Southeast, which may involve either working from home or from the client's office. Projects are valued between £100m - £1B.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will provide pre and post contract services and possibly run their own contracts. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing cost data
- Carrying out commercial audits
- Contract administration
- Forecasting
Requirements:
- NEC contract experience is non-negotiable
- Previous infrastructure project experience (preferably electrical, substations, overhead lines) is desirable
- Must be client facing and able to integrate well with teams
- Willing to travel if not based locally
- Basic pre and post contract knowledge
