An established, growing Architectural practice is hiring an Architectural Technologist (Graduate to Junior/Intermediate level) to join its collaborative, idea-sharing team in Hale, Manchester. This role is a flexible requirement which would suit a professional with 2 to 5 years of experience, or possibly a highly motivated fresh graduate looking to build a career.
The Company has been established for over 30+ years and specialises in one-off/bespoke houses - high-end residential homes, together with some larger-scale development work (4-300 houses). The 20-strong team is a mix of architects, graphic and interior designers. The company has a strong track record of developing people from an early career stage, providing excellent training and support, together with a highly collaborative and grown-up working culture.
The role of Architectural Technologist:
- The successful Architectural Technologist will join 3 highly experienced technicians to assist with drawings and technical packages, consistently being trained up to the point where they will run their own schemes.
- Prepare detailed technical packages and construction drawings for UK residential projects.
- Use REVIT and standard drawing systems to produce accurate 2D/3D models.
- Assist with planning applications and building control submissions under UK regulations.
- Collaborate actively in team meetings, sharing ideas to solve design challenges.
- Attend organised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and training modules.
The Architectural Technologist:
- You will have a relevant degree and UK experience (unfortunately this position is not open to non-UK citizens who require sponsorship).
- UK-based project experience is essential.
- Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in REVIT and standard digital drawing systems.
- Background or strong interest in residential project delivery.
- Excellent technical coordination and teamwork skills.
