Purpose of the job: The Central Paraplanning Team successfully delivers complex reports written in Plain English specifically with our clients in mind. This is achieved through a consistent high level of service and expertise both as individuals and as a team. This position will play a key role in preparing client files tasked into the Team. These cases need to be reviewed to ensure the necessary information is on file so the Paraplanner can start work with minimal fuss. Cases are to be added to our workflow – WILF – and time recording tool – Harvest. Another key aspect of the role is to complete Investment Audits (IA). You will also have weekly contact with our Investment Team.
Job summary: Have a thorough understanding of the Foster Denovo advice process, reporting format, pre-approval process and regulatory requirements. Work diligently and accurately to understand and complete Investment Audits (IAs) to ascertain the suitability of transition to the Dynamic Portfolios proposition. Supporting the existing team with research in terms of ensuring cases are ready to work on together with some ad hoc requests you may receive from the Team. This will mean confidently challenge the Partner, but you will have the support of senior members of the Team such as the Senior Paraplanning Manager. Liaise with the Team to provide Partners and their support teams progress of their cases. Work closely with the Team to share ideas and best practice, including assisting with all aspects of good customer experience and identify any process improvements that can be made. To undertake any other duties commensurate with skills and experience. Participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives which includes AI. Be an advocate of the Central Paraplanning Team’s positive team culture and dynamic by working closely with other teams and departments.
