The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Purpose of the job: You will be responsible for providing research and advice to the Partners including Recommendation and Strategy reports. We successfully deliver high level, complex reports written specifically with our clients in mind. This is achieved through a consistent high level of service and expertise both as individuals and as a team. The team consists of 13 Paraplanners, including 6 seniors, a junior, and 2 trainees.

Job summary:

  • Experience of working as a Paraplanner within an IFA environment.
  • Proven record of conducting research and writing quality Recommendation reports.
  • Focus on client friendly whilst meeting Compliance needs.

  • Pre and post retirement.
  • Pension transfers & SIPP providers.

  • Research tools & Cashflow modelling.

Main responsibilities:

  • Adhering to Foster Denovo's Service Excellence, you will be expected to always provide exceptional client service.
  • The client is at the heart of our values and therefore all communication should be bespoke to them and written in concise Plain English.
  • Ensure the advice you provide is considerate to the client and appropriate, and if not, have the confidence to challenge the Partner.
  • You will be required to keep up to date with all relevant training and best practice to enable this standard to be met. This includes company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives.
  • Commitment to pass basic internal financial industry exams set by within 3 months of employment.
  • Regularly provide workflow updates to Partners regarding their cases so they feel in control and can manage client expectations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Foster Denovo advice process, reporting format, pre-approval process and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with other Paraplanners and the Practice Manager to share ideas and best practice. This includes all aspects of a good customer experience.
  • Assist your paraplanning colleagues in busy periods.
  • Identifying any process improvements that can be made.
