Purpose of the job:

You will be responsible for providing research and advice to the Partners including Recommendation and Strategy reports.

We successfully deliver high-level, complex reports written specifically with our clients in mind. This is achieved through a consistent high level of service and expertise both as individuals and as a team.

Job summary:

• Working in a team of 18 including the Paraplanner Manager.
• You will be required to assist in leading, coaching, and developing colleagues (paraplanners and trainees) to maintain the trust and skills of the Central Paraplanning Team.
• Reporting directly to David Reilly, Team Leader.
• A key part of this role is applying your technical knowledge and experience to our Team of Paraplanners, plus colleagues outside this forum.
• Assist with our acquisitions plan and be part of a project requiring your technical abilities.

Main responsibilities:

• Adhering to Foster Denovo’s Service Excellence, you will be expected to always provide exceptional client service.
• The client is at the heart of our values and therefore all communication should be bespoke to them and written in concise Plain English.
• You will be required to keep up to date with all relevant training and best practices to enable this standard to be met.
• This includes company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives.
• Commitment to pass basic internal financial industry exams set by within 3 months of employment.
• Regularly provide workflow updates to Partners regarding their cases so they feel in control and can manage client expectations.
• Work closely with other Paraplanners and the Paraplanner Team Leader to share ideas and best practices. This includes:
• All aspects of a good customer experience.
• Assist your paraplanning colleagues in busy periods.
• Identifying any process improvements that can be made.
• Continue to effectively promote the Central Paraplanning Team’s positive team culture and dynamic by working closely with other teams and departments.
