Purpose of the job:

This newly created role is to assist the Consumer Duty Manager with the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the Foster Denovo Consumer Duty service proposition and fee rules and processes.

Job summary:

This role is vital in helping Private Wealth Partners determine and deliver accurate ongoing services and associated client fees. The successful candidate will master the Foster Denovo fee systems and processes, guiding Partners and administrators to the correct outcomes. Over time, the successful candidate will become involved in every facet of consumer duty, the service and fee process: approving fees, joining the fee exceptions team, helping to prepare the fee data and management information, training and development, helping to shape the service propositions, fee rules and processes.

Main responsibilities:

  • Committed to mastering the Private Wealth service proposition and fee rules and processes.
  • Distributing ongoing fee exception requests to members of the fee exceptions team.
  • Preparing and maintaining the fee exceptions log for the twice weekly fee exceptions meetings. The successful candidate will attend these meetings and over time will be expected to contribute to the discussion and decision making.
  • Answering fee exception queries as and when they arise daily. The successful candidate will be expected to develop into one of the core touchpoints for Partners with fee queries.
  • They will be expected to hold training sessions with new staff and acquisitions.
  • Cataloguing, developing and maintaining training guides and other associated documentation.
  • Gathering and sorting of fee data, and other MI as needed, to report on. The successful candidate, over time, will be expected to be able to analyse the data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Be involved in the testing and analysis of new proposed consumer duty service enhancements.
