Purpose of the job: To accurately process Health & Protection team income, the role holder will work alongside the H&P Team Operations Manager to ensure our income is processed in a timely manner and any aged debt investigated. This service allows the wider Client Experience team and Consulting Partners to primarily focus on building existing client relationships and developing new clients.
Job summary: Working within the wider H&P team while managing their own day-to-day workload. Reporting directly to the Client Experience H&P Team Operations Manager. The role holder will be responsible for adding monthly commission expectations and fees to the IO database, as well as investigating any aged debt or income queries from the H&P team.
Key skills and personal attributes:
- Carry out income administration for the H&P team, which will include:
- Ensure the smooth & timely running of the monthly income process.
- Develop, maintain and cultivate a constructive and professional relationship with the H&P Consulting Partners, H&P Client Experience team and wider finance departments.
- Issue the monthly “income for checking” to the H&P Consulting Partners and ensure this is completed to deadline.
- Add commission expectations to the IO database as instructed.
- Add H&P fees to IO and issue invoices to the clients as instructed.
- Liaise with clients on any invoice queries.
- Work with the H&P Operations Manager to investigate and resolve commission aged debt on a monthly basis.
- Investigate and action any unallocated income queries.
- Update plans on IO and amend income splits as required.
- Assist with updating the department database and income spreadsheets to ensure data is as accurate as possible.
- Independently respond to queries from both the H&P team and wider business in a pro-active manner and monitor the H&P income mailbox.
