As an Assistant Store Manager, you are the link between Store Management and the team. You bring positive energy to the sales floor, lead by example, and create a workplace that is fun, inspiring, and performance‑driven whilst embodying the Company’s core values. You actively support recruiting, onboarding, and developing the team, ensuring smooth operations and a superior shopping experience together with Store Management. You analyse KPIs, develop long‑term strategies, and motivate your team – because at Fossil, it’s Greater Together.
Your responsibilities:
- Daily coaching, motivation, and support of the team
- Close collaboration with the Store Manager on targets, KPIs and team leadership
- Shared responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, and developing employees
- Monitor sales figures, KPIs, and operational processes
- Ensure store standards and Company policy and procedures are upheld
- Provide training on product, promotions, initiatives and selling skills
- Act in the capacity of chair for employee meetings i.e touchbases, welfare, misconduct
- Liaise with centre management as required, ie job boards, private sale, promotions
- Promote a positive team culture and superior selling experience
- Take over store management/leadership in the absence of the Store Manager
