As a Trade Marketing Senior Specialist, you operate with energy, vision, and passion. You are responsible for strategically planning, executing, and optimising trade marketing campaigns across key retailers in the UK and Travel Retail markets for Fossil Group's brands: Fossil, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Tory Burch, Diesel, and Skagen. The primary objective is to enhance brand visibility, drive sell-through, increase incremental sales, and support overall retailer performance, across our watches and jewellery categories.
This role reports directly to Global Marketing and serves as the regional expert for traditional trade channels, ensuring alignment between Sub-Region Marketing efforts and overarching sales and marketing objectives, with emphasis on multi-channel integration, customer engagement, and performance-driven optimisation. The role holds full accountability for the UK and Travel Retail trade marketing budgets across all seven brands.
Responsibilities- Working closely with Commercial/Sales teams and key retailer partners to develop and execute comprehensive, ROI-focused trade marketing plans that strengthen brand presence and deliver commercial success (e.g. onsite, offsite, CRM, and data-led targeting).
- Serve as the primary marketing lead for your markets, owning the relationship and end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of retailer marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to localise campaigns, ensuring strict compliance with brand guidelines while adapting to UK and Travel Retail market nuances.
- Manage and optimise the UK and Travel Retail marketing budgets across all Fossil Group brands, adjusting plans to optimise value and meet commercial targets.
- Submit market-specific requirements during the annual marketing budget and planning cycle, and secure global brand approvals for any activities outside the pre-approved framework.
- Develop detailed creative briefs for trade marketing assets and campaigns, submitting them to the internal Creative Team to guide the production of in-store materials and digital content.
- Overseeing point-of-sale materials to enhance brand visibility and drive consumer engagement at retail.
- Working with our external agency to design, launch, and manage the Q4 Rewards Sales Incentive programme, ensuring alignment with sales goals and retailer motivation.
- Track and report on KPIs such as ROI, sell-through rates, incremental sales uplift, and budget efficiency, to present back to Commercial and Global teams.
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and sell-through data to generate actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and continuous optimisation of trade marketing initiatives.
- Min. 3-5-year experience in (Trade) Marketing specialist role.
- Business/Marketing Degree; MBA/MA in Business/Marketing.
- English (fluent); second language is a +
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to plan across multiple categories within a brand portfolio, managing and balancing budget allocations.
- Dynamic and commercially driven individual with strong understanding of ROAS and performance marketing metrics.
- A highly inquisitive mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and optimisation.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment with the ability to pivot plans quickly.
