We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with daily activities in accordance with care plans
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Support clients in participating in social activities and outings, when necessary
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for supporting clients
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable, organised, and able to adapt to changing needs of clients
