This position will be based at our Sunderland Donation Centre. As an Assistant Manager you will support the Manager in the day‑to‑day running of all areas of the business, including receiving donations, organising collections from private houses and other locations, processing and delivering to local SA shops, selling on the premises, and redistributing. You will also manage the repair and reuse service to the community. This is a very hands‑on role. You will respond to queries raised by customers, head office and the team. You will be responsible for opening and closing the centre and involved in recruitment and training of volunteers and staff.
