The Lynchmead herd of Pedigree Holsteins is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced member of staff to join our team. Totalling approximately 930 cows over two units, and 750 acres of farmland, the appointee will be responsible for making sure all daily tasks are carried out to the highest of standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the livestock team day to day, focusing mainly on liaising with the unit manager on feed rations, and feeding out across our dairy and beef farms.
- Check stock on our beef rearing unit, liaising with the unit manager on finishing stock and making decisions on stock ready for market.
- Perform any general day to day tractor work that may arise.
Modern equipment, good working hours and competitive salary for the right candidate. The candidate must have some previous experience, a can-do attitude and be a team player. No accommodation is provided.
