We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering patient advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting continuity of care for patients. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Duties:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct medication and dosage.
  • Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Monitor patient medication records and update as necessary to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy protocols, legal requirements, and health and safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies.

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably with community pharmacy experience.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient groups.
