The Opportunity

You will work closely alongside our Registered Manager to lead our care team, maintain high CQC standards, and champion compassionate dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture & Mentor: Coach, encourage, and motivate our care team, leading by example on shift to bring out the best in everyone.
  • Care Planning Excellence: Write, review, and maintain high-quality, person-centred care plans using our digital care software.
  • Quality & Accountability: Assist in daily operations, take charge in the Registered Manager’s absence, and ensure continuous CQC compliance.
  • Tech-Forward Care: Utilize our existing digital management tools daily, and help guide the team as we transition towards electronic medication management (eMAR) in the future.
  • Operational Support: Participate in shift coordination, occasional weekend cover, and the on-call rota.

What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Strong background in elderly/dementia care with proven skills in mentoring, coaching, and developing staff.
  • Care Planning Expertise: Outstanding ability to create, update, and audit detailed digital care plans.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care required (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards).
  • Tech Confident: Comfortable using care software day-to-day, including the use of eMAR.

Salary: Dependant on Experience

Hours: Full-time, Permanent, 40hrs per week (Occasional weekends & on-call rota required)

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
