This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Polegate. The Sales Executive across our sales & renewals teams will handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries, provide insurance quotations, and explain policy features and benefits in a clear and compliant manner. The role involves following up on leads, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and converting prospects into loyal customers. The Sales Executive will maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM systems, process policy amendments and renewals, and liaise with insurers to secure competitive terms. The position also includes working closely with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a related customer-focused industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, customer-friendly way.
- Comfortable working to targets and KPIs, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Solid organizational and administrative skills, including accurate data entry and use of CRM or policy management systems.
- Customer-centric mindset, with a professional, ethical approach and the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Polegate as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
- Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology; industry qualifications (e.g., Certificate in Insurance) are an advantage but not essential.
- Willingness to undertake training and continuous learning to stay current with products, regulations, and best practices.
- Brokerage insurance experience preferred but not essential.
