Here at McGill’s, we are recruiting for a time served PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our family, friendly Engineering Team here at Inchinnan. If you have light vehicle/car experience, then let us know as this role could be for you as well. Our modern fleet will give you the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and we are continuing to add electric vehicles as part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our carbon footprint. Don’t worry if you aren’t trained on this vehicle type, we have that covered with some industry leading training – your training will be completed locally at one of our locations meaning no time away from home.
Working with the Depot Management Team you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing PSV/HGV vehicles working in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
What you can bring to us:
- A current and valid UK driving license
- Proven mechanical qualification(s) and experience
- A proactive, engaging, positive attitude with strong communication skills working independently and as part of a team
- The ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and people within the business
- Detailed orientated with a focus on maintaining high standards
- Embrace flexibility and adaptability
