Overview

Support the provision of care by attending to the needs and rights of adults with a learning disability and/or mental health condition within a caring environment.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to the needs and rights of adults with a learning disability and/or mental health condition.
  • Provide weekend and overnight sleepover cover.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

  • Regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; must join or update on the PVG Scheme.
  • Completed an Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years.
  • Obtain SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.
  • Provide two references, one must be from your current or most recent employer.
