ThePlaceToBe are partnering with a leading events agency looking to recruit a Project Manager. Working closely with one of their key global clients, you’ll produce and deliver exciting internal events from concept through to completion, creating memorable experiences while building strong, long-term client relationships.
About the role… This is a genuinely unique opportunity that’s a little different from the norm. You’ll spend three days a week embedded with the client, working as an extension of their in‑house team, and two days a week with the agency, giving you the best of both worlds. If you’ve built your career agency-side and have always wondered what it’s like to work client-side without leaving agency life behind, this could be the perfect next step.
You’ll take ownership of producing a programme of engaging internal events, overseeing every stage of delivery from initial brief through to on‑site execution. Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams, you’ll bring creative ideas to life while ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly, on time and within budget.
What you’ll be doing…
- Producing events from concept through to on‑site delivery.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the client, building trusted, long‑term relationships.
- Collaborating with creative teams to develop engaging event concepts and experiences.
- Sourcing and managing venues, suppliers, production partners and accommodation.
- Managing event budgets, timelines, logistics and production schedules.
- Coordinating all event elements, ensuring seamless delivery from pre‑production through to live execution.
About you… You’ll have experience organising events within an agency environment and enjoy taking ownership of projects from brief through to delivery. You’re calm under pressure, highly organised and thrive in fast‑paced environments where no two days are the same. You’re equally comfortable working with clients, suppliers and internal teams to bring exceptional events to life.
What we’re looking for…
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or in a similar event production role within an agency.
- Strong end‑to‑end event production and delivery experience.
- Experience managing budgets, production schedules, suppliers, venues and logistics.
- Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident leading on‑site event delivery and managing multiple moving parts.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and a passion for delivering outstanding events and experiences.
