We’re looking for an exceptional Shift Manager to lead our bakery production team. The Shift Manager is the heartbeat of the bakery — owning the shift and turning plans into performance by delivering safe, high-quality production on time. You will lead from the front, setting the standard for behaviour, food integrity and accountability, ensuring the operation runs with control, consistency and pride. This is a fast-moving, high-volume environment where standards matter and details count. You’ll work closely with the Production Manager, Operations Manager and Bakery Director to execute plans, solve problems quickly, and keep the operation running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Output
- Own delivery of daily production plans and output targets
- Ensure efficient use of labour and resources on shift
- Maintain control of the production schedule and respond to issues in real time
- Quality & Food Integrity
- Take full ownership of product quality on shift
- Ensure all products meet specification and customer expectations
- Prevent defects, rework and non-conformance
