Hours: 40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 3:30pm
Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our Laminate Unit team. The Laminate Unit is a hazardous working environment where large volumes of resin, gel coat, and other chemicals are used. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and hazard-free workplace, helping to ensure the safety of all employees within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the Laminate Unit.
- Keep work areas, walkways, and emergency exits clear and free from hazards.
- Empty waste bins and remove waste materials promptly.
- Clean spillages safely and immediately in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure floors and working areas remain clean and organised at all times.
- Assist with the safe disposal of waste and contaminated materials.
- Identify and report hazards, safety concerns, and housekeeping issues.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Wear and maintain the required PPE at all times.
Requirements
- Good awareness of health and safety.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not essential.
- Full training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the department, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring the workplace remains free from hazards is a critical part of this role.
