We are a Granola company seeking a motivated and dynamic Outdoor Market Assistant to join our team at Knutsford Market on the first Sunday of every month starting from 9 am. Ideally, the candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales, with the ability to engage with customers effectively. This role is essential in driving our market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.
It is helpful if you can drive with a clean UK driving license, and preferably have your own transport. You must be available at weekends for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with the set-up and presentation of our products before the market opens.
- Arranging and displaying stock attractively on the stall.
- Helping to pack away equipment and count products at the end of the market.
- Engaging confidently with members of the public and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Offering free samples of granola and talking to customers about our products.
- Answering customer questions and assisting with sales.
- Maintaining a tidy, well-stocked, and professional-looking stall throughout the day.
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident when interacting with customers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to assist with carrying stock and helping with set-up and pack-down.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions (the market stall is fully covered).
