Teaching Assistant Level 3 Plus SSA, 37 hours per week pro rata to Term Time Only. Required for 1st September 2026.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to add to the staff team at Dryden School. This post will add support to a strong school team. Your role will be to support a pupil who may need physical intervention.

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic teaching assistant with determination to make things happen, to join our well-established, experienced and supportive staff. Experience of working with young people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs is essential. We are also looking for someone with Team Teach experience.

We need you to be:

  • Committed, creative and enthusiastic
  • A good classroom practitioner
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Able to lead work with individuals or small groups of pupils
  • Able to demonstrate good behaviour management skills
  • Able to respond to a wide range of special needs and provide support to all pupils
