Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting for their 2026 Graduate Scheme. We currently have opportunities for Finance Graduates to join us on a permanent contract based in Staverton and Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham.
Programme Overview
Joining an Ontic graduate scheme will give you an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice whilst rotating throughout our Finance departments learning and developing as you go. Completing this 2 year scheme will provide you with a solid foundation to support your career at Ontic where your role will have a direct impact on the success of the business and where you can start your journey to become a future leader. You’ll take responsibility early on and be involved in fast‑moving business‑critical projects from the very start. You’ll be inquisitive, thrive on new experiences and challenges and constantly seek new learning opportunities. From day one, you’ll be encouraged, supported and listened to. You’ll have ownership of tasks, use initiative to solve problems and collaborate with colleagues to achieve success. Over two years we’ll provide you with the resources you need to help you grow personally and professionally. Formal coaching sessions, mentors and on‑the‑job training and workshops, in addition to support for completing professional qualifications will help you achieve your full potential. At the end of the programme you’ll move on to a role where your drive and performance can accelerate your career.
Who We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Graduate with Ontic you’ll need to have achieved or be predicted to achieve at least a 2:1 in a relevant Finance or Business related subject. You will have a growth mindset and the ability to work in an ever‑changing environment. You’ll be curious, flexible, resilient, analytical, and truly collaborative. You’ll be willing to roll your sleeves up to help make things better or remove barriers to get the job done.
Start Date: September 2026
