Job Purpose:
The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the management and coordination of all engineering and associated projects including tank entry teams. They are also responsible to the Head Engineering for the efficient management, administration and compliance of all engineering projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Controls and manages all projects as advised by the Head of Engineering.
- Maintains and controls an electronic database system (Q Pulse) to ensure internal and external audit records/processes are adhered to in accordance with EASA/CAA/Company approval legislation.
- Ensure that Engineering team members have ELMS accounts and manage data inputted.
- Coordinates and controls all training and ensures that it is consistent with the division and/or customer’s requirements.
- In conjunction with the Head of Engineering, devises and implements techniques and procedures to ensure continuing compliance with JMC policy and maintaining the highest possible technical standards consistent with cost.
- Assists the Head of Engineering to ensure contracts are in place with customers and suppliers that comply with the necessary legislative and regulatory requirements laid down by the authorities and the organisations governance.
- Manages recruitment requirements of JMC Engineering (including advertisements, interviews, practical exercises, follow‑up and processing).
- Assists the JMC Administration team to coordinate and control continuation training.
- Assists the Head Engineering with departmental budgetary management.
- Manages the database for the JMC Event follow‑up process.
