Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support enterprise data and regulatory reporting initiatives within a complex financial services environment. This role focuses on analysing and validating large-scale datasets, supporting data transformation activities, and collaborating with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and reporting capabilities. The role requires strong SQL capability, analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and experience working within enterprise data or technology programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and validate large, complex datasets across multiple systems
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, reconcile, and interrogate data
- Translate business requirements into functional and data specifications
- Support data mapping, lineage analysis, and target-state data design
- Design and execute test scenarios and data validation checks
- Facilitate UAT activities and support implementation delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams
- Support data quality, governance, and reconciliation activities
- Contribute to regulatory and enterprise reporting initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on data analysis experience working with complex enterprise datasets
- Solid SQL capability including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience delivering analysis within data, reporting, or technology-focused programmes
- Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Highly Desirable Experience
- Experience within Liquidity, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting environments
- Knowledge of frameworks including: LCR, PRA110, DILAA/SOC, ALMM
- Understanding of: Data modelling, Data mapping, Data lineage, Data quality controls
- Exposure to AI or advanced analytics techniques including machine learning or AI-enabled insights
