Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support enterprise data and regulatory reporting initiatives within a complex financial services environment. This role focuses on analysing and validating large-scale datasets, supporting data transformation activities, and collaborating with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and reporting capabilities. The role requires strong SQL capability, analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and experience working within enterprise data or technology programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and validate large, complex datasets across multiple systems
  • Write SQL queries to extract, transform, reconcile, and interrogate data
  • Translate business requirements into functional and data specifications
  • Support data mapping, lineage analysis, and target-state data design
  • Design and execute test scenarios and data validation checks
  • Facilitate UAT activities and support implementation delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams
  • Support data quality, governance, and reconciliation activities
  • Contribute to regulatory and enterprise reporting initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on data analysis experience working with complex enterprise datasets
  • Solid SQL capability including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
  • Experience delivering analysis within data, reporting, or technology-focused programmes
  • Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Highly Desirable Experience

  • Experience within Liquidity, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting environments
  • Knowledge of frameworks including: LCR, PRA110, DILAA/SOC, ALMM
  • Understanding of: Data modelling, Data mapping, Data lineage, Data quality controls
  • Exposure to AI or advanced analytics techniques including machine learning or AI-enabled insights
