We are a popular and extremely busy countryside pub, located in the heart of the South Downs near Goodwood and the historic city of Chichester. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality seasonal British food using fresh produce sourced from trusted local suppliers.
This role is ideally suited to a seasoned chef who thrives in a busy fresh-food environment and is passionate about leading from the front. You will play a key role in menu development, kitchen standards, team leadership and helping drive the business towards Rosette-level dining standards. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a genuine impact within a privately owned and ambitious pub.

Working pattern:
Full-time, permanent position
2 days off per week
Combination of split shifts and straight shifts
Weekend availability required
What we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years Head Chef experience
Strong fresh food background
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Passion for quality seasonal British cooking
Ability to perform consistently in a high-volume kitchen
Driving licence preferred
Pay: From £45,000.00 per year
