Working Hours

Our working hours are 32 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days. Monday: 8.40 - 3.35pm, Tuesday: 8.40 - 4.30pm, Wed - Fri: 8.40 - 3.15pm.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to the pupils’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
  • Use specialist (curricular/learning) skills, training & experience to support pupils.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupils’ responses to learning activities through observation and planned recording of achievement against pre-determined learning objectives.
  • Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.
